I saw this Chinese movie "In the mood for love" or "在花样年华" and it gets burned into my mind, so I decided to make a painting about it. It's mostly in red and yellow and a broken black colour. Tommy Lee Jones is 14 years old, so Happy Birthday! Some episodes in the life of my beloved mean kitty. Mean kitty? ... there is no mean kitty, because these cats are very special. In this vid you see tomcat "catch the mouse" and outside in the foreplay of a catfight (but I prefented), outside with me in the country and much more ;)

2 lovers - love in internet

How to paint 2 lovers or love in internet? This is a special painting for Theresa-Ann. But 2 lovers is not an usual love painting, during the making the painting changed more and more. At least it's a love scene between 2 trees. Hope you like it, it's very romantic and with fantastic colours (Afremov style ;)

the mystic angel Wu Ji

"the mystic angel" was not the project I wanted to paint first, because first I wanted to bring a typically chinese painting on canvas with several scenes out the movie Wu Ji (also titled The Promise or The Riders Of The Wind). But times are very difficulty for me right now and so I had and have less time. But because I wanted to paint a picture before christmas I decided to paint "the mystic angel". It's a scene from the chinese movie Wu Ji (The Promise or The Riders Of The Wind) and so it changed to "the mystic angel" ;)
